Jim Anderson serves as the Director of Missionary Discipleship Formation for the Diocese of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. For sixteen years prior to that, he was the Director of Formation at St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission, in Bruno, Saskatchewan, where, exercising his charisms, he designed, built, and facilitated a unique program of faith formation for young adults within a common life of study and prayer inspired by the life and teachings of St. Thérèse of Lisieux.
Jim holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville and has been active in Catholic formation and education for over thirty-five years. He is on the coordinating team of CHARIS National Service of Communion for Canada.
Jim is also a musician with several recordings to his credit, a published poet, the co-author of a series of fantasy novels, the Legacy of the Stone Harp, and enjoys long walks in the woods, a good glass of red wine, and solving cryptic crossword puzzles.
