After ‘dropping her nets’ for Jesus in college, Sara’s thirst for adventure took on new meaning and purpose as she sought to live out God’s mission for her life in the midst of His Church: to be a saint. This has led her on all sorts of adventures, including working with those living on the streets, accompanying mothers in crisis pregnancies, and hooping it up with youth on Chicago’s Southside. Born and raised in Joliet, IL, Sara moved to Colorado a few years ago and felt instantly at home in the Rockies.
Before joining the CSI Team, Sara used her social work degree to work in the mental health and social services sectors and even had a dog sitting business! When she’s not answering the phone or sending invoices, she loves to hike whenever she can, enjoy time with her family and friends, and sing her heart out-in no particular order but sometimes all at once! She is grateful to be a part of the Catherine of Siena Institute, which has shaped her own walk with Jesus.
