In light of the Eucharistic Revival, Pray with Scripture Meet God was revised and renamed Pray the Word with the Living Word.Pray the Word with the Living Word uses a simple method inspired by lectio divina as well as St. Vincent de Paul's prayer of repetition to guide the user in an encounter with God in Scripture and the Eucharist.Pray the Word with the Living Word was created:
1. to help parishes begin to break the silence, and
2. to propose that it is possible for ordinary Catholics to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
3. to help Catholics encounter Jesus: body, blood, soul and divinity, in the Eucharist in order to grow in their relationship with him!
